TutorCenter.net – Terms of Service
Last Updated: January 19, 2026
Welcome to TutorCenter.net. By registering as a Tutor or using our services as a Student/Parent, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Nature of the Platform
TutorCenter.net is a global digital marketplace that connects independent Tutors with Students and Parents. TutorCenter is an intermediary platform and does not employ Tutors. All Tutors are independent contractors.
2. Commission and Financial Obligations
- Mandatory Commission: A commission fee equal to one (1) lesson fee ($30 USD) is mandatory upon any verbal or written agreement made between a Tutor and a Student/Parent facilitated through the Platform.
- Payment Request: Once an agreement is reached, TutorCenter will issue a payment request via Payoneer to the email address provided by the Tutor during registration.
- The 2-Hour Rule: Tutors are strictly required to complete the commission payment within two (2) hours of the issuance of the Payoneer request.
- Non-Payment Penalties: Failure to complete the payment within the 2-hour window will result in the immediate suspension of the Tutor’s account and removal of their profile from the Platform’s search results.
3. Anti-Circumvention (Bypass) Policy
- Tutors are strictly prohibited from bypassing the Platform to avoid commission payments. Any attempt to provide private contact information to a Student/Parent (for non-premium members) or arranging payments outside the agreed Platform structure will lead to a permanent ban and potential legal action to recover lost commissions.
4. Premium Membership for Tutors
- Premium Tutors: Tutors who subscribe to a Premium Membership plan are granted the right to display their direct contact information (WhatsApp, Email, Social Media, etc.) on their public profiles.
- Standard Tutors: Tutors without a Premium Membership agree that their contact information may be shared by TutorCenter with Students/Parents only for matching purposes. Standard Tutors are not permitted to display direct contact links on their profiles.
5. Data Sharing and Matching
- To facilitate successful educational matches, Tutors consent to the sharing of their professional and contact details with potential Students or Parents. TutorCenter reserves the right to act as an intermediary in these communications.
6. Limitation of Liability and Conduct
- Educational Content: TutorCenter is not responsible for the academic content, quality of lessons, or the conduct of Tutors or Students.
- Taxes: Tutors are solely responsible for reporting their income and paying any applicable taxes in their respective countries.
- Professionalism: All users must maintain a high standard of professional ethics. Harassment or inappropriate behavior will result in immediate account termination.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
- Platform commissions are earned once a match is facilitated and an agreement is reached. These fees are non-refundable. Lesson-specific refund policies are to be settled between the Tutor and the Student, provided they do not conflict with Platform integrity.
8. Governing Law
- These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with international digital commerce laws. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the operator’s registered location.
9. ADDITIONAL ARTICLE: ORGANIZATIONAL INCENTIVE AND PASSIVE INCOME SYSTEM
- Definitions and Scope: This article regulates the commission rights arising from the “Access Authorization” sales made by the administration for students brought in by the “Demand Provider” and the sub-users (1st, 2nd, and 3rd Generations) they have brought into the system.
- Earning Conditions: * Direct Earnings: The Provider earns a percentage (18%/21%/25%) of the sales price, determined according to their level, upon confirmation of the student request they have directly referred and receipt of service confirmation, provided that the access authorization sale made by the administration for the brought-in student is successful.
Passive (Generation) Income: The Provider earns a commission (passive income) of 5% (1st Generation), 3% (2nd Generation), or 2% (3rd Generation) per sale, according to their hierarchy in the organizational chart, from the access authorization sales made by the administration for students brought in by the sub-generations they have referred.
- Payment Principles: * All commission payments are made in periods determined by the Platform (tutorcenter.net) after the Access Authorization sale is completed by the administration for the student’s course request.
Commissions arising from erroneous or abusive transactions (fraudulent requests, etc.) will be canceled by the system, and the relevant provider’s organization membership may be suspended.
- Privacy and Ethics: The provider is obligated to keep the data of other users within its organizational structure confidential in accordance with its Privacy Policy and GDPR Policy, and to comply with ethical business practices.
